RD finishes his ODI carrer in style

Rahul Sharad Dravid who is the most familar batsmen in the Cricket history had retired from ODI by playing his last match against ENGLAND which he scored 69 runs and its of his true nature dats it is a typical dravidian innings.................

Well he had played 344 matches scoring 10889 with an avg nearly 40...... with 12 centuries and 83 half centuries and strike rate of 72 nearly.

And his highest score came against NEW-ZELAND in the year 1999 he banged 153 runs and his fastest fifty came off 22 balls that to against the same country...........................

One and Only one ...................

RAHUL DRAVID who had debut for INDIA for a T20 International at his late age of 38 and becomes the 3rd oldest player to do that in cricket history ..................

And was against England...........

However the match is lost,Dravid had made his contribution of 31 runs off 21 balls hitting 3 consecutive sixes of SAMIT PATEL over ,before he dismised by RAVI BOPARA.

This becomes his last T20 international too representing INDIA, as he declared his retirement before.

Once again but now its in England

Rahul Dravid once agian in England has been the MAN OF THE SERIES for India.................


Despite the series loss

Dravid is the only player to score 3 centuries in the series out of the 4 matches played............

He had scored the 1st century in LORD'S in 1st test and occupied his place in the honors board which made him special.......

and the second one is of course a Dravidian style innings in the second test................

and the fourth test century was the best of all d three which he scored out of three.................

which he scored 146* in the first innings which he carried his bat................

and again opened the innings in the follow-on situation.................

which certainly proves why he is called the man with determination.

Ishant Sharma is the highest Wicket-taker in the series and also named as the MAN OF THE SERIES award.......
which he took 22 wickets in six innings.......... with the best of 6/55...................

India lifts the Digicel trophy...............

After the third test ended in a draw.India has taken a 1-0 lead against West Indies and has clinched the series.It was Rahul Dravids century that paved way for Indias victory in the first test.Mean while the second and third tests ended in a draw.India could have won the third test having to take less that 90runs and seven wickets in hand with 15overs.But it was Dhoni who refused to take the risk.
